FC Djursholm was one of 80 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016. They participated with 8 teams in P08, P07, P06-Extrasvår, P06-Lätt/Medel, P05-Extrasvår, F06 and F05 respectively. The team in F05 made it to the the Final in B Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Lidingö FK 4 by 1-2.

In addition to this, FC Djursholm have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2015, FC Djursholm had three teams playing in F04, F06 and F07 respectively. The team in F04 made it to the the Final in B-Slutspeland won it over IF BP 7 by 5-0.

FC Djursholm originates from Djursholm, which is the same city as where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place. The area around Djursholm does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016 (Among others: Saltsjö-Boo IF, Vasalunds IF, Vallentuna BK, Jarlabergs IF, IF Brommapojkarna, IFK Stocksund 1, IFK Aspudden-Tellus, Mälarhöjdens IK, FC Järfälla and Sollentuna FK).
