Hammarby IF FF was one of 43 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2018. They participated with four teams in P09, P08-Extrasvår, P07-Extrasvår and P07-Svår respectively.

In addition to this, Hammarby IF FF have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017, Hammarby had 5 teams playing in P08, P07-Extrasvår and P06-Svår respectively. Two teams played until Avslutningsmatch 1 in Vidare spel; P06-Svår 3 won over IFK Lidingö FK 16 by 4-2 and P06-Svår 6 won over Vallentuna BK by 2-0.

Hammarby comes from Johanneshov which lies approximately 12 km from Djursholm, where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place. The area around Johanneshov does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2018 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, FC Boo, Djurgårdens IF, IFK Stocksund, Tullinge Fotboll, IF Brommapojkarna, Hanvikens SK, IFK Vaxholm, IFK Aspudden Tellus and AIK FF).
