AIK FF was one of 69 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017. They participated with three teams in P07-Lätt/Medel and P06-Svår respectively. Two teams played until Avslutningsmatch 10 in Vidare spel; P06-Svår Vit 1 won over Kista Galaxy FC by 11-1 and P06-Svår Vit 2 won over IF Brommapojkarna 4 by 2-1.

In addition to this, AIK FF have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016, AIK had 8 teams playing in P07, P06-Svår, P05-Extrasvår, P05-Lätt/Medel, P05-Svår and F06 respectively. Two teams played until Final in A Slutspel; P05-Lätt/Medel P06:U won over IFK Österåker FK by 4-1 but F06 lost against Saltsjö-Boo IF by 0-1.

AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 6 km from Djursholm, where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 63 additional clubs participating during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Haninge, Jarlabergs IF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, IF Brommapojkarna, Danderyds SK, Sörskogens IF, Vendelsö IK Vendelsögård, Täby FK, Viggbyholms IK FF and Skogås-Trångsunds FF).
