Djurgårdens IF FF was one of 69 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017. They participated with two teams in P06-Extrasvår. Two teams played until Avslutningsmatch 5 in Vidare spel; P06-Extrasvår Blå won over Saltsjö-Boo IF Svart by 7-1 but P06-Extrasvår Röd lost against Rågsveds IF Grön by 2-7.

In addition to this, Djurgårdens IF FF have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016, Djurgårdens had 4 teams playing in P06-Lätt/Medel. The team in P06-Lätt/Medel made it to the the Semi final in A Slutspel, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF 4 by 1-6.

Djurgårdens comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 5 km from Djursholm, where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 63 additional clubs participating during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Haninge, Jarlabergs IF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, IF Brommapojkarna, Danderyds SK, Sörskogens IF, Vendelsö IK Vendelsögård, Täby FK, Viggbyholms IK FF and Skogås-Trångsunds FF).
