IFK Österåker FK was one of 69 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017. They participated with 5 teams in P09, P06-Svår, P06-Lätt/Medel and F06-Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P06-Svår made it to the the Avslutningsmatch 5 in Vidare speland won it over Örby IS by 4-2.

In addition to this, IFK Österåker FK have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016, IFK Österåker FK had three teams playing in P05-Lätt/Medel and F05 respectively. The team in P05-Lätt/Medel made it to the the Final in A Slutspel, but lost it against AIK FF P06:U by 1-4.

IFK Österåker FK comes from Åkersberga which lies approximately 14 km from Djursholm, where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place.
