Hammarby IF FF was one of 69 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017. They participated with 5 teams in P08, P07-Extrasvår and P06-Svår respectively. Two teams played until Avslutningsmatch 1 in Vidare spel; P06-Svår 3 won over IFK Lidingö FK 16 by 4-2 and P06-Svår 6 won over Vallentuna BK by 2-0.

In addition to this, Hammarby IF FF have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016, Hammarby had 7 teams playing in P06-Extrasvår, P06-Lätt/Medel and P05-Extrasvår respectively. Two teams played until Final in A Slutspel; P06-Lätt/Medel 4 won over Syrianska FC by 6-4 and P05-Extrasvår 1 won over IF Brommapojkarna 2 by 2-1.

Hammarby comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 12 km from Djursholm, where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 62 additional clubs participating during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Haninge, Jarlabergs IF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, IF Brommapojkarna, Danderyds SK, Sörskogens IF, Vendelsö IK Vendelsögård, Täby FK, Skogås-Trångsunds FF and Ursvik IK).
