IF Brommapojkarna was one of 69 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017. They participated with 6 teams in P08, P07-Extrasvår, P07-Lätt/Medel and P06-Lätt/Medel respectively. Two teams played until in Gruppspel; P06-Lätt/Medel 9 lost against Hammarby IF FF 3 by 2-7 but P06-Lätt/Medel 18 .

In addition to this, IF Brommapojkarna have participated in Boys & Girls Spring Cup before. During Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016, Brommapojkarna had 10 teams playing in P08, P07, P06-Extrasvår, P06-Svår and P05-Svår respectively. Two teams played until Final in A Slutspel; P06-Svår 17 lost against Hammarby IF FF 10 by 2-4 and P05-Svår P06:2 lost against IF Brommapojkarna P06:1 by 2-6.

Brommapojkarna comes from Bromma which lies approximately 11 km from Djursholm, where Boys & Girls Spring Cup takes place. The area around Bromma does also provide 62 additional clubs participating during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Haninge, Jarlabergs IF, Saltsjö-Boo IF, Danderyds SK, Sörskogens IF, Vendelsö IK Vendelsögård, Täby FK, Skogås-Trångsunds FF, Ursvik IK and IF Brommapojkarna 17).
