Åkersberga FC was one of 80 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Boys & Girls Spring Cup 2016. They participated with one team in P06-Lätt/Medel.
In addition to Åkersberga FC, 28 other teams played in P06-Lätt/Medel. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åkersberga FC could be found in Group 2 together with FC Djursholm P07, Djurgårdens IF FF 6 and Stocksunds IF. Åkersberga FC continued to B Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Lidingö FK 3 with 0-2. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 9 Röd won over IFK Stocksund Blå and became the winner of B Slutspel in P06-Lätt/Medel.
